More festival fun

So after all the fun last night we ventured out to our church's fall festival tonight. Brandt didn't want to dress up the same as last night so we got out our old costumes and dress up clothes and the boys each picked what they wanted to be. Since it was over 80 degrees I was glad they didn't want to put on their fleece bee costumes today.
Brennan went as an Aggie fan. Real cheesy, but it was too hot for a regular costume and the boys insisted he dress up too.
Our very own Dash!
Buzz Lightyear
A wonderful vet! Notice the animals, he carried them around all night treating them.
Brennan has figured out how to play Peek-a-boo! He will pull the shade visor down on his carrier and just laugh.
Waiting patiently in line
Brayden playing Putt Putt
Bryson throwing bean bags. He actually threw all 3 through the holes and left handed nonetheless!
Brandt pumpkin bowling
The boys riding in the caboose of the train

I think everyone was worn out by this point and ready to go home. We have all been up since before 6:30 this morning since we picked up my parents at the airport in Houston early this morning. Not to mention they had a hard time going to sleep last night after all the excitement (and sugar) so they were up way past their normal bedtime.

Hallelujah Festival

Our school had a Hallelujah festival tonight. We are actually going to be bees for Halloween, but around 2 this afternoon Brandt decided he wanted to dress up like a scarecrow tonight. Of course, his brothers soon decided they wanted to be scarecrows too, so off to Michaels we went to get raffia.
Brotherly love, scarecrow style!
The littlest scarecrow of them all. He was starting to get hungry and letting me know. After his bottle, he was perfect tonight!
I love how Brennan is just staring at Brandt. They all really do love each other and get along remarkably well.
A high school student was dressed like a clown and making balloon animals. Brayden decided he wanted to try so he had the kid blow a balloon up for him to try.
Bry decided his was a blue light saber
The boys even talked me into dressing up!

Let the countdown begin...

This morning at 5:30 we put Dustin on a plane for Rhode Island. He will be gone for 12 days! He is going for training and a conference, and I hope he learns a lot while he is there. We will miss him, but hope he has a great time while he is there. With my babysitter out of commission, my inlaws are watching the younger 2 the rest of this week in Austin, we drove and met them last night. They will be back on Friday afternoon. My parents are in Hawaii right now (my Dad has a business trip there and my mom tagged along). We drove my mom to the Houston airport last Sunday and the boys and I will go pick them up Sunday morning in Houston. Monday I will take the boys on an all day field trip with Brayden's class. Then Tuesday my mom will take them on an all day field trip with Brandt's class. Afterwards she will take them to her house to finish out that week. Since that Friday is Halloween and Dustin will still be gone, when we get done at school we are going to drive down there and do Halloween with my parents. Then Saturday will be my sister's baby shower, and then finally Sunday afternoon we will go pick him up at the airport. Let the countdown begin!

Fun day at the park

October 6th-10th our school had a Fall Break (like Spring Break). We had no set plans and it was so nice not to wake up to an alarm. One day we met our awesome babysitter and her son at the park. God truly blessed us with her and I literally could not think of anyone better to watch our boys than her. She loves the Lord, and she loves my boys and they love her. She is delivering her 2nd child tomorrow by repeat c-section if you could keep her in your prayers.
Brennan's 1st time in the swing at the park. He actually seemed to enjoy it.
Brandt has learned how to swing himself now, and was very excited to show off his new skill.
Brayden was really good about swinging Bryson.
Bryson decided he wanted down, and this picture cracks me up. He looks so sad. lol

How cute is he?

Brennan will be 6 months old on Wednesday. It is amazing how quickly time is flying. He has the absolute best personality, and I am totally in love with him. Poor baby has his 1st ear infection and has a serious diaper rash from the antibiotics, but he is still sweet as can be.

I love his eyes in the picture!

You will never believe what I saw in Taylor, Texas...

The Wal-Mart in Taylor, Texas had regular gas this weekend for $2.53, and after the $.03 discount for paying with a gift card $2.50!!! It has been forever since I have seen it so low. Sad part is we stopped in Manor and filled up at $2.89 thinking that was a steal to drive 15 minutes down the road to find it almost $.40 cheaper. I sure hope those prices move on over to the BCS area!

Update on Baby Bridgett...

They think that the thickening of the heart wall in non-cancerous tumors, and that she has Tuberous Sclerosis (http://www.tsalliance.org/pages.aspx?content=2). My sister (her mom) has this and it caused her to have seizures when she was younger because her tumors were in the brain. They ran a bunch of test on her, and this is how they discovered it. You usually outgrow the symptoms, and by the age of 8 her seizures stopped and she has not taken anti-seizure medicine since. The doctor said a lot of people have it and do not know it because they do not have any symptoms. Since it is genetic, they ventured to guess that all 5 of us (all my siblings) are at least carriers of it and that around 1/2 of my parents grandchildren have it or will get it. I have not noticed any symptoms in any of my kids. I am going to venture that they do not have it or it is at least very mild. They said currently it isn't causing a problem for Bridgett, but if it continues to grow she might have to deliver at a different hospital then she wants to have a pediatric cardiologist on site.
